Benebone bones should be enjoyed but not eaten. Although very durable, Benebone is not suitable for very aggressive chewers who may damage the product or harm their teeth. Every dog has a different play style, and since not all toys are equal, it's always best to closely monitor your puppy in case things escalate. Supervised play will help extend the life of the toys and, most importantly, keep your companion safe. There is no completely indestructible dog toy, so always remove the chew from playtime if pieces start to break off.
Instructions
Monitor wear. Within about a Month, most dogs will chew the Benebone to the point of surrender. Rice-sized chips are acceptable, but if it looks like larger pieces are about to break off, it's time to replace.
