Durasid is an antiparasitic medication used to treat, prevent, and control internal and external parasites in livestock:

Active Ingredient: Each 100 ml contains 1.0 gram of Doramectin

Indications for Use:

Treatment, prevention, and control of:

• Intestinal Worms (adults): Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformes, Cooperia pectinata, Haemonchus placei, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Cooperia punctata and Trichuris discolor.
• Fleas (Warble Flies): Larvae of Dermatobia hominis

• Ticks: Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus (adults)

• Myiasis: Prevention of worms caused by larvae of Cochliomyia hominivorax.

Durasid can be safely administered to young and adult livestock, including calves and pregnant females.

Dosage: Durasid should be administered subcutaneously at the recommended dose, preferably behind or in front of the "shoulder blade". The recommended dose is 1 ml per 50 kg of body weight, equivalent to 0.2 mg of Doramectin per kg of body weight. Subcutaneous application.
