Simply pull the lock release button back, then lift and open.

Assembling these gates is simple. No tools are required unless you are using the optional mounting cups, which need a Phillips screwdriver. As if all this isn't enough, our steel pet gates are extremely easy to clean. Simply wipe them with a cloth using a gentle, pet-safe cleaner.
