Coated tablets (Thiamazole also known as Methimazole) for the treatment of hyperthyroidism in cats.

Active Ingredient: Methimazole

Package Size: 100 tablets in plastic containers per box - 2.5 mg, also available in a 5 mg dose.

Indications for Use: To stabilize hyperthyroidism in cats prior to surgical thyroidectomy and for long-term treatment of hyperthyroidism in cats.

Dosage: The initial dosage of FELIMAZOLE coated tablets is 2.5 mg given every 12 hours. After 3 weeks of treatment, the dosage should be adjusted according to total T4 (TT4) serum levels and clinical response. Adjustments should be made in increments of 2.5 mg. The maximum daily dose is 20 mg divided, not exceeding 10 mg as a single administration.

Storage: Store at room temperature between 15ºC - 30ºC.
