KRUSAN zinc ointment is manufactured as a thin zinc paste that is easy to distribute and is easily absorbed by the skin. Although the ointment is water-resistant, it allows the skin to breathe. KRUSAN zinc ointment has a low pH (4.5) to maintain the skin's natural acidity, which is crucial for the skin's defense mechanism against ammonia produced by urine and feces. Zinc oxide is the active ingredient that alleviates skin redness and irritation due to its drying effect. It also contains allantoin and chamomile as anti-irritant agents.
