A complete blend of dried peaches, apricots, plums, sweet peppers, carrots, tomatoes, and cabbage, combined with Roudybush Daily Maintenance pellets and a healthy dose of sunshine. Use this diet when transitioning your bird from its old diet to Roudybush. Continue feeding adult birds that are not laying eggs or feeding Young. The droppings of lories and lorikeets will be less moist on this diet compared to juices. If you have a bird that lays eggs chronically or a bird prone to developing calcium deficiency (such as African Grey parrots), mix 2/3 of the maintenance pellets with 1/3 of the high-energy breeding pellets to provide them with more calcium and Vitamin D3. Do not offer additional vitamin or mineral supplements. Fresh fruit and vegetable treats can be offered as a small part of the diet.
