It is important for the animals to slowly adapt to the local water parameters in your aquarium. To avoid further stress, turn off the aquarium light. Do not turn it back on until all the new fish are in the tank and behaving calmly. Place the fish transport bag in the aquarium. Open the bag and ensure it remains upright in the aquarium, for example, using a clip. Add water from the aquarium to the bag. The amount should be approximately one-third of the water in the fish transport bag. After 10 minutes, refill the bag with water from the aquarium. Wait another 10 minutes before adding water to the bag for the third time. After another 10 minutes, you can carefully catch the fish from the bag using a net and place them in the aquarium. Then dispose of the remaining water in the bag. Refill the aquarium with fresh water if necessary.
