For the treatment of hypothyroidism in dogs.

Active Ingredients: Levothyroxine Sodium

Package Size: 250 tablets in blister packs with a dose of 400 micrograms, also available in doses of 200 micrograms and 800 micrograms.

Indications for Use: Do not use in dogs with uncorrected adrenal insufficiency. Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to levothyroxine sodium or any of the

additional ingredients. Diagnosis of hypothyroidism should be confirmed through appropriate tests.

The tablets are flavored. To avoid any accidental ingestion, tablets should be stored out of reach of animals.

Dosage: The recommended initial dose of levothyroxine sodium is 10 micrograms/kg of body weight orally every 12 hours. Due to variability in absorption and metabolism, the dose may require adjustments before a full clinical response is observed.

The initial dose and frequency of administration are merely starting points. Treatment should be highly individualized and tailored to the individual dog's needs, according to veterinary monitoring. In dogs, the absorption of levothyroxine sodium may be affected by the presence of Food.

Therefore, the timing of treatment and its relation to feeding should be kept consistent from day to day. To break the tablet accurately and easily, place the scored side up and press down with your thumb. To break the tablet into two parts; continue pressing on the first half of the tablet and press on the other half. When starting the dose for dogs weighing less than 5 kg, a quarter of a 200 microgram tablet should be given once daily. These cases should be carefully monitored by your veterinarian.

Storage: Store at a temperature below 25°C. Return any divided tablet to the open package and use within 4 days.
