TOXOPLASMA AG RAPID TEST
The TOXOPLASMA AG RAPID TEST is a veterinary product designed to provide a rapid qualitative detection of Toxoplasma gondii antigen (Toxo Ag) in animal samples. It is used with feces or whole blood (and in some versions, serum or plasma) from cats, dogs, and other susceptible species.

Main Benefits

Provides results within approximately 5–10 minutes, allowing for quick decision-making.
Uses a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay of the sandwich type for easy visual interpretation.
Detects the presence of Toxoplasma gondii antigen, indicating an active infection.
Compatible with multiple sample types—feces and whole blood; some versions also accept serum or plasma.
Includes all necessary components in one kit for ease of use.

Composition

Test strips coated with monoclonal antibodies against Toxo.
Buffer or diluent tubes for sample preparation.
Swabs or droppers for sample collection.
User manual.

Instructions for Use

Collect the appropriate sample (feces or whole blood; some versions may accept serum or plasma) as indicated by the test.
Mix the sample with the provided buffer or diluent.
Place the prepared sample into the sample well on the test strip.
Wait for the specified test duration (usually 5–10 minutes) and interpret the results based on the appearance of test (T) and control (C) lines.
The sample size or dosage should be determined by a qualified veterinarian based on species, body weight, and clinical condition.

Package Size

Available in kits containing 10 tests.
Some versions may be available in smaller quantities, such as 3 tests per kit.
