Urinary Catheter 5Fr - catheter, length adjustable up to 25cm (10in)

Replaces two catheters with one. The same catheter is used for unblocking and left in place to drain the bladder. This technique is designed with a single device to reduce the risk of infection and trauma associated with the two-catheter technique.

Catheter flushing device (optional) enables flushing through the catheter during insertion. The movable suture device allows for length adjustment. Improvement for standard urinary catheters of Tomcat, Jackson, and Slippery Sam™ models. Non-irritating polyurethane material and radiopaque. Rigid for easy insertion. Softens at body temperature. Open-ended tip. Luer lock to secure connection to a closed collection system (see "Closed Urine Collection System"). The 25 cm length allows maximum flexibility when securing the catheter. The additional length allows securing the collection bag connector at the cat's tail or back, resulting in minimal tension on the catheter during the cat's movement.
