Cleaning is easy, as the waterfall can be disassembled into several parts. The Exo Terra Repti Flo pump is included to provide water circulation. As a precaution, small stones or gravel can be added to the collection tank for geckos and small frogs.

Organic waste should be periodically removed from the collection tank to maintain clean water. Tap water should be treated with AquaTize to remove chlorine and heavy metals.

Adding BioTize will help keep the water clean for a longer period, in addition to enhancing the necessary beneficial bacteria and reducing odors associated with decaying waste.
