It is easy to clean, as the waterfall can be disassembled into several parts. The Exo Terra Repti Flo pump is included to provide water circulation. As a precaution, small gravel or pebbles can be added to the collection tank for small crocodilians and frogs.

Organic waste should be periodically removed from the collection tank to maintain water cleanliness. Tap water should be treated with Aquatize to remove chlorine and heavy metals.

Adding Biotize will help keep the water clean for a longer period, as well as enhance the necessary beneficial bacteria and reduce odors associated with decomposing waste.
