Chinchillas need to take daily sand baths to keep their fur soft, thick and free of blemishes. This special sand with its very fine and rounded grains penetrates the animal's skin, without damaging the fragile hair, and absorbs excess moisture and grease that forms on the fur. How to use: Pour 3 to 5 cm of sand into the special tray. Clean up any debris after each use, and in any case, renew it weekly.
