Quartz sand from Aquial is a very fine and very light white material, used as a base for aquariums. This creates beautiful contrasts with colorful shrimp. It is also ideal for creating paths and walkways in aquarium design, for example. The natural material contains no additives or industrial coatings, making it neutral to water and does not release any pollutants. Additionally, quartz sand can be used in soft water tanks, as it does not harden the water.

Quartz sand is available in two different grain sizes. For small aquariums, the grain size from 0.1 to 0.3 mm is most suitable. For large tanks, we recommend a grain size from 0.4 to 1.2 mm. Both grain sizes are available in 2 kg or 10 kg bags.
