This product provides permanent inhibition of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) activity in the plasma for both dogs and cats.
Benazepril is rapidly absorbed and converted into benazeprilat, which is a highly effective and targeted inhibitor of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). For dogs with heart failure, benazeprilat helps lower blood pressure and reduces the volume load on the heart. In cats facing renal insufficiency, benazeprilat helps reduce protein loss through urine.

Dosage/Administration:
Benazecare flavored tablets 5 mg are part of a class of Medicines known as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. The tablets are administered orally once daily, with or without Food. Treatment can be continued for an indefinite period.
