The introduction of the sterilized product is an aqueous paste supplied in a syringe (2.5 ml or 5.0 ml). The paste can be injected directly into the defect where it adapts to fill the void. The paste is quickly colonized by bone cells and acts as a scaffold that encourages host bone infiltration. The paste-like consistency means the paste can be pressed onto the bone where it adheres until it is absorbed. NanoPaste is very similar to Ostim™ which has a proven clinical record. Applications include: joint fusion, TTA Rapid, non-union cases, delayed bone union, and filling spinal cages.
