Long-acting amikacin

• An antibiotic containing Oxytetracycline.
• It is used in the prevention and treatment of a wide range of systemic, respiratory, and urinary infections caused by organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline.
  
• It works to treat Pasteurella disease, pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, erysipelas, arthritis, navel inflammation, and as a supportive treatment in mastitis.
• Used in cows and sheep

Usage and Dosage

• By deep intramuscular injection.
• Dose: 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight for a long duration of activity
• Used for 5-6 days.

Withdrawal period

• Meat: 35 days
• Milk: 7 days in cows and 9 days in sheep.
