Meridian is a completely natural oolitic aragonite material (spherical or oval shape) used as a base for all marine and reef aquariums. Meridian is considered the premium aragonite material for coral reef aquariums.

Preparation:
Rinse it before use to remove any remaining dust.

When adding water to the tank, fill it slowly to avoid disturbing the Meridian layer. Place a bowl in the tank and add water directly to the bowl, allowing the water to gently overflow onto the gravel layer. Initial cloudiness is normal. To remove the cloudiness, use mechanical filtration (such as filter floss). Use the Clarity product to speed up the filtration process.
