Reef Carbonate 250mL

Reef Carbonate is a concentrated (4000 microequivalents/liter) enhanced blend of carbonate and bicarbonate salts designed to restore and maintain alkalinity in a reef aquarium.

Usage instructions:
For beginners
Use 1 cap (5 ml) per 80 liters (20 US gallons) twice a week. It is best to dilute it in a cup of fresh water, then add it. Check the alkalinity every two weeks and adjust the amount or frequency accordingly.

For advanced users
Check the alkalinity, then follow the addition regimen mentioned above until the alkalinity is adjusted to 4-5 microequivalents/liter. Each ml contains a minimum of 4 microequivalents of alkalinity. Every 5 ml/80 liters will raise the alkalinity by approximately 0.25 microequivalents/liter. The amount or frequency can be adjusted, but do not exceed 20 ml/80 liters per day. Thereafter, use as needed to maintain alkalinity.
