Reef Buffer 50g

When used as directed, Seachem Reef Buffer will raise the pH level in a reef system to 8.3 without the risk of accidentally exceeding a dangerous pH level. Key Features:

Directions: Check the pH and alkalinity levels before use. Use 5 grams (one level teaspoon) per 150 liters (40 US gallons) to raise the pH level by approximately 0.1 pH unit (this will also raise alkalinity by about 0.5 meq/L). Dissolve it in at least 250 ml (one cup) of fresh water, then add it to the aquarium. The pH level in natural seawater is 8.25-8.30. In a well-established reef system, pH adjustment may be needed every two weeks to a week. Dosage requirements will vary, but do not exceed the recommended dosage without checking your pH and alkalinity levels.
