API® SUPER ICK CURE treatment for fish treats "Ich" disease, or white spot disease, in fish, as well as other infectious parasitic diseases. The Ich parasite has a multi-stage life cycle and is invisible in its early stages when it burrows into gill and skin tissues, causing severe electrolyte loss and gill damage as well as promoting secondary bacterial and/or fungal infections.

Early symptoms of this infection include rapid fish movement in the tank, fish scratching against gravel or decorations, difficulty breathing, and fish staying near the water surface, near filters, or near aerators. White spots may not always be visible on the fish.

The SUPER ICK CURE treatment for fish usually eliminates the Ich parasite within 24 hours and is safe for use in freshwater and saltwater tanks. This product comes in liquid and powder forms, and it is important to dose according to the instructions on the package.

• For every 10 gallons of water, pour one bottle directly into the tank.
• Repeat the dose after 48 hours.
• Wait another 48 hours, then change 25% of the tank water and add new activated carbon or replace the filter cartridge.

Instructions for use of the liquid:

• Remove the activated carbon from the filter and continue aeration.
• Add 5 ml per 5 gallons of tank water.
• Repeat the dose after 48 hours.
• Wait another 48 hours, then change 25% of the tank water and add new activated carbon.
