The IQ inlet strainer is made of high-quality stainless steel with a black anodized finish that works excellently against corrosion and rust. In addition to preventing very small fish and shrimp from being drawn into the filter inlet, the strainer also helps avoid or collect particles and debris from flowing into the filter, causing a blockage in the aquarium's filtration system. This product is very easy to install as you first need to align it with the filter inlet strainer and slide it sideways to adjust to the required size, depending on the size of the fish, shrimp, or even fish food pellets.
