The IQ inlet strainer is made of high-quality stainless steel with a black anodized finish that works excellently against corrosion and rust. In addition to preventing very small fish and shrimp from being drawn into the filter inlet, the strainer also helps avoid or trap particles and debris from flowing into the filter, causing blockages in the aquarium's filtration system. This product is extremely easy to install as you first need to align it with the filter inlet strainer and then pull it aside to adjust to the desired size, depending on the size of the fish, shrimp, or even fish pellets.
