The 2.4 lock screw has the same head as the 2.7 mm lock screw (LS2724** series) and can therefore be used in both 2.4 lock plates and 2.7 lock plates when needed. The pilot drill is 1.8 mm and, as with other lock screw sizes, requires a dedicated drill sleeve.
