AquaClear Powerhead #30-V 114L

The AquaClear 30 Powerhead is a multifunctional pump delivering outstanding performance in a variety of applications. It efficiently runs gravel filters and circulates and aerates aquarium water. It connects to filtration accessories such as the AquaClear fast filter.

The Powerhead 30 comes equipped with a Venturi aeration valve that raises oxygen levels, which is important when water temperatures rise, fish populations increase, or during disease treatment.

It can also be connected to operate protein skimmers, which are essential devices for most marine tanks.

Using the Powerhead 30 with the AquaClear fast filter provides additional mechanical filtration and safety for cleaner water conditions and fry protection.

The Powerhead 30 is essential in small reef tanks, where it can be easily hidden yet provides very beneficial currents. Freshwater tanks also benefit from the additional currents in many applications.

The Powerhead 30 includes many innovations in design, safety, and utility: a compact, energy-efficient motor unit, fully submersible and encapsulated in epoxy resin; adjustable flow control; Venturi feature for additional aeration and greater air output than most powerheads; vertical/horizontal outlet adapter; adjustable flow control; shaft adapter; convenient suction cups for easy installation; and outlet hose adapter for easy connection to protein skimmers, spray bars, and other accessories. Maximum flow rate: 660 liters per hour / 175 US gallons per hour. Recommended tank capacity: 120 liters / 30 US gallons.
