The 42-12 quickly removes tartar buildup from all tooth surfaces and is safe for use in gum pockets up to 13 mm deep. The 42-12 achieves an extremely polished finish on teeth while minimizing enamel damage by using a very high ultrasonic frequency of 42,000 Hz, combined with a very low amplitude of 0.02 mm for the titanium cleaning head movement. A lightweight handheld device with finger-operated on/off control exactly where you need it, eliminating the need for foot control. The rotary head movement and high ultrasonic frequency create a gentle cooling spray that can be adjusted. General titanium cleaning tips and Perio type (not stainless steel) come with the 42-12 cleaner, along with a spare ferret rod. The device and its tips are sterilizable in an autoclave.
