Marine Buffer 50g

Marine Buffer will safely raise the marine pH level to 8.3. It will not raise the pH level above 8.3 even if used excessively by mistake. Marine Buffer is a mixed product and not just sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate, which are commonly sold as substitutes. Key Features:

• Contains magnesium to alleviate the effects of deposits

Directions: Add 5 grams (one level teaspoon) for every 80 liters (20 US gallons). Dissolve it in at least one cup of fresh water. This dose will also increase alkalinity by approximately 1 meq/L. Add daily until the pH level stabilizes at 8.3. This will take from a day to a week, depending on the original pH level and alkalinity. After that, use it biweekly or monthly to maintain the pH level at 8.3.
