API® MELAFIX Fish Treatment is a natural antibacterial treatment that treats infections in fish. Common bacterial infections are open wounds and abrasions, tail rot, eye cloudiness, and oral thrush. MELAFIX fish treatment also promotes the regrowth of damaged fins and tissues. The product can be used when adding fish to an aquarium - especially to facilitate the transition from store to home - and if an infestation is suspected, but not yet diagnosed. Some fish purchased from pet stores already carry diseases at the time of purchase, which can be difficult to detect in their early stages.

API MELAFIX fish treatment will not negatively affect the biological filter, alter the pH, or discolour the water.

Add 5 ml. For every 10 gallons of aquarium water.

To treat illness or wounds, dose daily for 7 days.

After 7 days, change the water by 25%.

Continue treatment if necessary.

To add new fish, dose daily for 3 days.
