Product Description Aqua Medic KR Blue Calcium Reactor Aqua Medic KR Blue Calcium Reactor is a tightly sealed closed system with an integrated circulation pump and carbon dioxide return. It can be installed in a side channel, regardless of the water level in the aquarium or filtration tank. It comes filled with 8 pounds of hydrocarbons. Adding carbon dioxide lowers the pH value in the KR Blue and dissolves the hydrocarbons. Despite the low flow rate of about 0.25 - 1 gallon per hour, large amounts of calcium and bicarbonate ions are delivered to the tank, which is very beneficial for tank inhabitants. The KR Blue is equipped with a port for a pH probe (PG 13.5). Rated for aquariums from 65 gallons to 270 gallons. Recommended accessories: SP 1500 dosing pump for constant water supply, solenoid valve, pH controller, pH probe for adding carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, and dolomite for supplying calcium and magnesium.
