Aqua Medic Midiflotor

The Aqua Medic midiflotor is an internal, counter-current air defoliator with a dual cylinder system for aquariums up to 400 litres. It features a dual reaction tube that makes it a true counterflow eliminator. Air bubbles rise in the inner tube. Like a wind lifter, it takes with it a large volume of water. This water is forced to flow down into the outer tube. The air bubbles follow the water stream downward until they reach the expansion cone. At this point, the air bubbles rotate and rise in the opposite direction upward. This ensures a very high retention time for bubbles in the water. A lemon wood diffuser is also included that produces very fine air bubbles. In addition, the mounting plate leaves space for the redox electrode. For air supply, we recommend the Mistral 300 diaphragm air pump (not included).
