Supplying water to the skimmer requires a second pump with a capacity of no less than 2,000 liters/hour (about 500 US gallons per hour). The skimmer can also be connected directly to the tank overflow. In this case, it is recommended to install a bypass to control the water flow to the skimmer, especially if strong return pumps are used.
