EHEIM biopower 200 internal filter

With the EHEIM biopower filter, you have a high-performance internal filter like never before.

It features a fully rotating pump head, adjustable construction, and other features derived from the aquaball concept.

What distinguishes biopower is that it provides multi-layer filtration just like an external filter. The closed filter baskets are filled with high-efficiency filter media (such as SUBSTRATpro). There is an intake basket with a filter cartridge for mechanical and biological sorting at the bottom. The water drawn from the bottom is pumped upwards through the different filter layers and after filtration, it is directed back into the aquarium.

There are 3 models for aquariums with a capacity ranging from 80 to 240 liters.

Aquaball concept with external filter technology

External filter technology and multi-layer filtration - this means: water is pumped from the bottom to the top through the different filter layers and after filtration, it is directed back into the aquarium.

The closed filter baskets come pre-filled with EHEIM SUBSTRATpro. Other filter media can also be used.

The intake basket contains a filter cartridge for mechanical and biological sorting. In the pump head holder, an additional filter pad provides extra filtration.

By adding or removing filter units (filter baskets), you can adjust the filter size as needed.

Filter baskets can be easily connected and detached (Easy-Klick locking system)

Thanks to the adjustable construction, filter cartridges or media can be cleaned at different intervals, preserving bacterial cultures.

The pump power and water flow can be adjusted through the control knob on the flow nozzle.

The air distributor is adjusted to control the amount of air intake, thus enhancing the oxygen richness in the aquarium.

The biopower holder is simply mounted on the glass using suction cups. For cleaning, replacing units, or filling filter media, the filter is simply removed from its holder.
