With its predecessor, the professional, EHEIM launched the first range of external filters in a square shape. Benefits: space-saving (because the filter fits corners), high stability, and large filter volume.

Additionally, this durable basic filter offers special advantages: for example, a complete hose adapter unit with integrated shut-off valves, individually removable filter baskets with foldable handles, very low power consumption, very quiet operation thanks to ceramic components, and more.

eXperience comes fully equipped - including accessories and filter media. You can start immediately.

Square, practical, reliable, efficient, and quiet.

eXperience is the basic model of our leading square-shaped filter generation. Its shape allows it to be installed in corners, taking up less space. Moreover, it stands more stably and offers a larger filter volume.

Instead of individual hose connectors, eXperience has a complete hose adapter unit with 2 integrated shut-off valves. The adapter can be easily removed and safely replaced using the lever (clip lock). The shut-off valves can be individually adjusted to regulate water flow.

The filter case contains practical filter baskets. These have foldable handles and can be easily removed for easy handling and convenient full or partial cleaning.

High-performance EHEIM ceramics, i.e., components made from high-quality ceramics (shafts and impeller sleeves), ensure very quiet operation, high durability, and a very long service life.

With only 8 watts and a pump output of 700 liters/hour, eXperience operates very efficiently and has low power consumption.

With these benefits, the professional was the predecessor of the very high-tech external filter range (professionel 3 and 3e).

It is also available as a thermal filter with an integrated heater (eXperience 250T).
