Filter carbon for pure aquarium water – especially for new tank setups
Carbon EHEIM is particularly suitable for water purification during the aquarium setup phase. Chlorine from tap water and other chemicals that may enter the aquarium during installation are safely absorbed.
Carbon EHEIM should be used for a short period (about 4 weeks) in the layered setup after mechanical filtration media (such as EHEIM Mech or Mech Pro) and biological filtration media (such as EHEIM Substrat Pro) in the provided mesh bag.

Tip:
Use only absorptive filtration media for a few weeks, as harmful substances are only bound and can be released after a period and reintroduced into the water.
