The EHEIM professional 3 is the top level of our professional external filter generations. With a square base for stability, the filter features a large filter volume but fits into corners and requires less space.

Priming aid

No more complicated priming methods! With the priming aid, the filter canister is filled and ready for operation immediately.

Safety hose adapter

Hose adapter equipped with three hoses. For safety reasons, the hose adapter can only be detached when the valves are closed.

Pre-filter

A large pre-filter, located at the top of the canister, retains coarse dirt and can be quickly cleaned between maintenance intervals. This protects the biological filter media in the other three filter baskets, providing a much longer service life.

Filter baskets

Filter baskets can be individually filled and are easy to remove for cleaning.

Quiet operation

EHEIM high-performance ceramics, i.e., components made from high-performance ceramics (impeller shafts and bearings), mean extremely quiet operation, high load capacity, and very long service life.
