Dental damage in horses has been documented as a result of using metal mouth gags. This inspired the development of new oral gags for horses. This model is distinguished from other oral gags by its design and materials - stainless steel with a solid molded rubber block. The rubber block is made from an extremely durable and non-harmful material, preventing dental damage when using EQUIVET mouth gags. Additionally, the shape of the wedge and the flexibility of the rubber reduce pressure on the horse.
