• Flostac injection is a solution containing dipyrone 500 mg.
• Flostac is an antipyretic solution for animals used as an antipyretic in cases of fever and infection.

Dosage and method of use of Flostac antipyretic injection solution for animals 

• Flostac is used by intramuscular injection, intravenous injection, or subcutaneous injection.
• Dosage in cows: 5 ml per 50 kg body weight.
• Dosage in horses: 10-20 ml per adult animal (injected intramuscularly or intravenously very slowly)
• Dosage in dogs and cats: 0.5 ml per 10 kg body weight.

Withdrawal period

• 28 days for ruminants.

Warnings

• The total daily dose should not exceed 300 mg per animal per day for dogs and cats.
• The total daily dose should not exceed 10 g per animal per day for horses.
• It is not used for animals intended for dairy production.
• Not for use in poultry.
• Dipyrone should not be used in conjunction with phenylbutazone or barbiturates.
• In horses, the medication is not given within 5 days of the race.
• The blood picture should be monitored during prolonged treatment.
