Connect the extension line to the intravenous catheter from one end and the infusion set from the other end and extend the line range:

• Connect the female Luer lock of the extension hose to the male fitting of the infusion set.
• Remove the protective cap from the male Luer lock, purge the air from the tube, and close the regulating clamp.
• Connect the male Luer lock to the intravenous device and adjust the flow by rotating the clamp to achieve the desired flow rate.
