KRUUSE I.V. Infusion Set with Vent and Y Injection Site, 20 drops/ml, 30/pack. Standard gravity infusion set. 1) Close the regulator clamp and the vent cap 2) Remove the protective cap from the probe and insert the probe fully into the fluid container. Be careful not to compromise the product's sterility 3) Open the vent cap and squeeze the drip chamber until it is approximately half full 4) Remove the protective cap at the end of the tube (be careful not to compromise the product's sterility), open the regulator clamp allowing the fluid to completely displace the air in the tube. Close the clamp tightly 5) Perform venipuncture according to clinical practices and allow blood to fill the needle/venous catheter. Connect (screw) the tube to the needle/catheter and gradually open the regulator clamp to regulate fluid flow Note: Be careful not to overhydrate the patient and do not leave patients unattended while receiving fluid therapy. Close the vent during infusion therapy interruptions
