Operating Instructions: Carefully clean the protein skimmer before use. Do not use any chemical cleaners. Mount the protein skimmer on the aquarium wall and adjust the screw to keep the device in place and balanced. Remove the impurity case cover, then fill the pump chamber with water until it reaches 50 mm above the water pump. Turn the air intake control unit to "Close," then connect the power source. Start the water pump to fill the tube with water. Turn the air intake control unit to "Open" to allow air in, and the protein skimmer will start working. Let the device run for at least 24 hours for the break-in period, during which wet foam should form and be cleaned. After the break-in period, the wet foam will decrease, and mud-like foam will be produced, which should be cleaned from time to time.
