Choosing the right size of cages for your pet is crucial to making crate training a positive experience. Cages come in all sizes, from small to giant, to suit most dog breeds. So what about all this debate over cage sizes? Imagine your pet trying to stand, turn, or sit in a cage that's too small for them. The best way to choose the perfect size for your pet's cage is to measure them from the top of their head to the ground, then from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail. The cage height should be 3-4 inches taller and larger than your pet, so there's enough room to stand fully, turn easily, and lie down comfortably! If the cage is too small, your pet will feel uncomfortable; and if it's too large, your pet may try to use the Pigeons in its space.
