In systems supported by nitrogen and phosphorus additions, potassium usage rates may increase. The Reef Potassium™ supplement provides a targeted means to effectively increase potassium concentrations without adding phosphates or dissolved organic materials. In many reef aquariums, adding potassium can enhance the growth and coloration of corals and macroalgae—especially the red and pink colors in corals. Reef Potassium™ is ideal for use with the aquavitro® sentia™ dosing device to maintain potassium levels at a constant concentration based on the unique Order of your aquarium, but it can also be easily dosed manually. Optimal potassium levels will vary but typically range between 380 - 400 mg/L potassium. Reef Potassium™ contains 10% elemental potassium. Use Reef Nitrogen™ and Reef Phosphorus™ to maintain optimal nitrogen and phosphorus levels.
