Absorbable, sterile gelatin sponge with a hemostatic effect. Flexible, water-soluble, and designed for hemostatic use when applied to a bleeding surface. When applied to bleeding mucous membranes, it will dissolve within 2-5 days. It should not be used for contaminated wounds. It can be used dry or wet.
