Recommended use Terrano clay powder is added to the substrate as a binding component. Standard mixing ratio: Mix about one part Terrano clay powder with 3 to 5 parts sand or soil. The dry ingredients are mixed well and then gradually moistened with water until a slightly moist, moldable mass is formed. The substrate is spread, compacted, and shaped in the terrarium. Once completely dry, the substrate hardens and retains its shape permanently. Wet mixing: Mix 1 kg of Terrano clay powder with about 400 to 600 ml of water until a homogeneous plastic clay mass is formed. This wet mixture can be well mixed into the substrate or used specifically to form soil areas, landforms, and hard hiding areas. Once completely dry, it forms a particularly hard and stable surface. The wet mixture ensures even distribution of clay in the substrate and tight drying, making it particularly suitable for detailed work in terrarium substrates.
