Urinary Catheter 5Fr - catheter, length adjustable up to 25cm (10in), with stylet

One catheter replaces two. The same catheter is used to unblock and remains in place to drain the bladder. This single-device technique is designed to reduce the risks of infection and trauma associated with the double-catheter technique.

The catheter flushing device (optional) allows flushing through the catheter during insertion. The new movable suture device allows for length adjustment. An improvement on standard Tomcat, Jackson, and Slippery Sam™ catheters. Non-irritating radiopaque polyurethane material. Rigid to facilitate insertion. Becomes soft at body temperature. Open-ended tip. Luer lock to secure connection to a closed collection system (see "Closed Urine Collection System").

The 25 cm length provides maximum flexibility when securing the catheter. The additional length allows for securing the collection bag connector to occur at the tail or back of the cat, reducing catheter tension at the prepuce when the cat moves.
