The chlorine oxide compound is similar to that produced by the animal's neutrophil cells, and Vetericyn will not harm healthy tissue. Being pH neutral, it should not cause pain upon application.

Ingredients: Oxidized water, sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), hypochlorous acid (HOCl), and sodium chloride (NaCl).

Directions for use: Remove excess hair from the wound area. Trim if necessary. Adjust the spray nozzle. Apply Vetericyn VF Hydrogel generously to the wound to clean it, treat infection, and promote healing. If a bandage is needed, apply Vetericyn VF Hydrogel generously to the bandage. Place the bandage on the wound. Repeat several times a day as needed until the wound is healed. No rinsing is required. The skin may become "flushed" after application due to increased blood flow to the wound site, which will accelerate the healing process.

Indications: Used for managing wounds resulting from trauma, cuts, abrasions, skin irritations, surgical procedures, and burns. Safe for use around the eyes, mouth, and nose.
