The CO2 diffuser from Dymax, made of stainless steel, uses special ceramic refining techniques. The quartz plate has a very fine effect and a high dissolution rate that breaks a continuous flow of CO2 into very small bubbles. These very small bubbles produce a much higher surface area to volume ratio compared to larger bubbles, facilitating the gas diffusion process in water.
