Malawi Cichlid Pellets are a basic food consisting of gently manufactured pellets without dyes or preservatives for small cichlids that primarily feed on plants and algae. This includes many types of cichlids from East Africa.
High-quality herbal ingredients such as spirulina algae and spinach with a high amount of natural carotenoids support optimal color development. The balanced formula supports strong growth and healthy digestion.
The slow-sinking pellets maintain their shape very well and do not pollute the water.
Nature-like Nutrition for Cichlids
Like most fish families, cichlids can be classified into three large groups based on their diet: carnivores (primarily eat animal matter), herbivores (primarily eat plants), and omnivores (eat all types of food). However, even within each of these groups, there are many subgroups. To meet the different requirements, Sera offers five different types of food for cichlids, developed to match the feeding habits and sizes of the animals.
All Sera aquarium foods belong to the "Nature" range and do not require any dyes or preservatives.

Feeding Instructions
Feed once or twice daily, only as much as the animals can consume in a short period.
