What it is
DECTOMAX is an injection containing doramectin to treat and control internal and external parasites in cattle and sheep.
When to use it
- Cattle: gut worms, lungworms and eyeworms, plus lice, mange mites and ticks
- Sheep: gut worms, mange (scab) and nasal bots
How to use it
Dose: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight · Method: cattle by injection under the skin in the neck, sheep by injection into the neck muscle
Withdrawal period: 70 days for meat · Do not use in cattle or sheep producing milk for human consumption, or in dogs.
Dispensed on a veterinary prescription — your vet sets the right dose.

The 250 ml bottle gives about 250 doses for a 50 kg sheep (1 ml per sheep).
