Reptile surface UV radiation devices with 100-watt power for desert areas achieve their maximum UV-B output of 150 microwatts/cm² at a distance of +/- 50 cm from the animal. These lamps provide high lighting, heat, and UV-A/B rays in one lamp, and have a balanced ratio between UV-B production and energy consumption.
